Since its launch in September 2023, Floya has aimed to make mobility in Brussels easier by bringing different services together in one app.
Today, we want to let you know that Floya will come to an end on 31 December 2026.
Why is Floya stopping?
The intention with Floya was to test a n.ew way of combining different mobility services in one app and make travel in Brussels easier.
Over almost 3 years, Floya helped build a real community of users and gave us a better understanding of how different modes of transport are combined in everyday life.
But today, the Brussels context has evolved: shared kickscooters will be banned as of 2027, which will considerably reduce the available offer in the app. In the current budgetary situation, STIB-MIVB has therefore chosen to focus its resources on mobility projects with the biggest impact on travel in Brussels.
That is why Floya will come to an end at the end of 2026.
What changes for you?
In practice, Floya will remain available until 31 December 2026.
Until then, nothing changes. You can continue using the app as usual to plan your trips, buy tickets and passes, unlock shared bikes, kick scooters and cars, and order taxis.
For now, all features remain available. If any service or feature need to change as 31 December approaches, we will always let you know well in advance.
Partner services will continue after 31 December
The end of Floya has no impact on the services offered by mobility partners.
Mobility services will remain directly available through the apps and platforms of the relevant partners (provided that they are still available in Brussels in 2027):

- Voi
- Villo!
