3 game-changing Floya features

We had the pleasure of meeting a dozen users who wanted to try out the app’s latest options. Find out about the 3 features that these Floyers recommended to help you get around Brussels even more easily.

QR code scanner

Have you ever noticed the blue circle in the ‘Travel’ tab? Press it to scan the QR code of a bike or kick scooter. This way, you can choose and unlock the best bike or kick scooter directly in the dropzone. No need to search for it on the map!

Have you registered your Bancontact card in the app? All it takes is one click to be on your way. Easy peasy!

Public transport real time

Still waiting for the bus that’s supposed to arrive? Check that the time announced is real time. You’ll be able to tell by the dynamic wave icon.

No waves mean that the time is theoretical: either the vehicle is not yet on its way, or it may have been diverted or cancelled.

If you see waves, it means that the vehicle is following its usual route and should arrive within the announced time.

Push notifications

There’s a public transport strike you’d like to know about? An important change to your trip? A special offer? An upcoming European summit?

Activate push notifications in the app so that we can let you know. To do so, go to Account > Preferences > Notifications.

No cars in BX tomorrow. Special offers STIB, De Lijn and SNCB. Get around the city easily from 9.30am to 7pm thanks to Floya!

You’ve turned on notifications in Floya, but you’re not receiving them? On iOS, the system settings can block notifications from being sent. In that case, go to the app’s authorisations in your phone’s settings to authorise Floya’s notifications.
